Pune Blogs started with a simple frustration: most of what's written about Pune online is either a tourist-brochure list or a thinly disguised advertisement. The neighbourhood you'd actually recommend to a friend, the cafe you go back to, the trek that's worth the early start — that knowledge lived in people's heads, not on the page.
So we built a place for it. Pune Blogs is an independent journal covering the city the way locals experience it: food and cafes, places to visit, living in Pune, weekend getaways, culture and events, and practical moving and relocation advice.
What we believe
- Honest over promotional. We tell you what to skip as readily as what to try, and we don't run pay-to-play reviews.
- Local over generic. Every guide is grounded in the real city — named neighbourhoods, real trade-offs, practical detail.
- Useful over clever. Maps, checklists and itineraries you can act on this weekend.
Who writes this
Pune Blogs is written and edited by a small team of Pune residents — people who've done the commutes, queued for the misal, and climbed the forts in the rain. We're always happy to hear from readers, local businesses and fellow writers. Drop us a line at info@puneblogs.com or via our contact page.
